New Years Day 2008 marked the 62nd time

the Annual Philadelphia Mummer's Parade. 

In those 62 years South Philadelphia has taken 
First Prize 3 times and placed in the Top 10, 39 times,
making South Philadelphia one of the most successful
String Bands in history.
